The Coreana Cosmetics Museum is the only museum, which exclusively introduce traditional Korean cosmetic culture in Korea. The museum has held special exhibitions in France, the UK, China, and Japan entitled Inspired by Nature, The Traditional Cosmetics of Korea. These exhibitions featured traditional cosmetic materials, cases for cosmetics, and fashion accessories in order to introduce the significance of Korean cosmetic culture that has grown along with the Hallyu (the Korean Wave). Those exhibitions garnered positive responses from viewers and stirred interest with video images that enabled them to better understand the concept of Korean cosmetics and education programs that allowed them to experience diverse spectrums of Korean culture.
